At the beginning of the 20th century, Covina was known as one of the smallest cities in the whole country. That is no longer true, and Covina is centered in the midst of Interstate freeways 10, 210, and 605 as well as State Route 57. The city of Covina has taken special care to preserve the old-town Downtown historical character. There are many “mom and pop” shops, fine eateries, vintage clothing stores, hobby shops, antique stores, and ice cream shops all to be enjoyed. There is also the Covina Center for Performing Arts that is the architectural and entertainment cornerstone of Covina’s downtown.
A favorite among locals is REV Winery, known for its craft beer and craft organic wine that can be enjoyed in a more intimate setting. There is also AZO Vino Wine Bar that has an art gallery, wine bar, and bottle shop. For those not old enough to drink, Covina also has Sky Zone, a trampoline park with an expansive array of trampolines, some even angled so you can practically bounce off the walls. There is also a Brunswick Zone bowling alley that additionally has an arcade/game room. There are a few parks in Covina but the most popular is Covina Park for its softball field, hockey rink, and band shell that can be reserved and the baseball, tennis, and basketball courts that are available to the public.
Covina’s charming downtown is reason enough to live here, and all of the fun things to do just sweeten the deal.
